The building technique of the future in a certain building construction area (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Everyday people walk past a building; or perhaps they even live in a building with a facade of plaster. This particular area is fairly big and widespread at least around Europe. A lot of people don’t reflect or care about what facade their house has; perhaps they should? One might never know if it’s good or bad. The techniques used for building facades with plaster vary and perhaps you have seen the differences while strolling down the streets.

In this rapport you can read and find out what a facade of plaster is all about. There are chapters that explain and compare three different techniques within the area. Our aim was to compare the three methods in five different aspects; environment awareness, health issues, economy, construction and protection from fire.

The result of the comparison showed that the methods varied very little considering our aspects. The method using thin plaster on light concrete and the method using ventilated facade of plaster are sharing the first place while the traditional method came a few points behind. The methods seemed closer to each other then we first thought.
