Abstract [en]

this paper discusses the development of a distributed cache strategy for an analytic cluster in an Internet of Things (IoT) system. In this paper, Least Recently Used (LRU), Proactive Cache and distributed system related concepts are discussed. The study about the approaches for performance optimization, nodes and data distributing in the IoT system is also performed. The novelty about this research is the concept of a placeholder and its use together with Proactive Cache to optimize the traditional LRU algorithm in the use case of a data analytic cluster in an IoT system, which can reduce the response delay of the query up to 90% in the test case.
