Abstract [en]

Since 2003 Toyota Material Handling Sweden (TMHS) remanufacture forklift trucks at a Fleet Management Center in Mjölby (Sweden). Remanufacturing is one area that TMHS promote their sustainability work as being environmentally sound in comparison to new manufacturing. The forklift trucks are remanufactured according to the five process steps of inspection, cleaning, repairing, repainting and final testing.

By providing the market remanufactured forklift trucks, the company can reach new customer segments. The value for the customers is that they buy and use a price-worthy forklift truck that has been treated well during their previous use under the control of Toyota.
