Abstract [en]

This paper presents an implementation of a combined interpolator and decimator used in an OFDM system. The implemented component is used both for the forming of the channel and for reducing the requirements on the A/D and D/A converters. The interpolator and decimator have been implemented using lattice wave digital filters and some novel filter structures for decimation and interpolation by a factor of two have been used to increase the performance and reduce the power consumption.
