Abstract [en]

This paper presents the major lines in the treatment offered to children suffering from skeletal and skin tuberculosis. During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries there was a sometimes acrid debate between the surgeons and those who advocated treatment based on nature. In realilty treatment was often combined.
