On a Relationship between Zeros of Regular Transfer Functions and the Zero Dynamics
Linköping University, Department of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control. Linköping University, The Institute of Technology.
1993 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

This report considers zeros of regular transfer functions of homogeneous non-linear systems and if there is a relationship between these zeros and the zero dynamics. Such a relationship is found to exist if the numerator of the regular transfer function can be factorized in a certain way. The zero dynamics is then seen to contain a purely linear part whose eigenvalues exactly correspond to the zeros of the above mentioned factorization.
