From MP3 to Spotify : A discourse analysis of the file-sharing debate in four Swedish newspapers (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The purpose of the study is that, by analyzing a variety of newspaper articles in the subject of file sharing and piracy, try to see whether and if so, how the debate developed in the Swedish press.

Our conclusion is that, between 1999 and 2010 there was a significant change in how file sharing was depicted in the Swedish press. The development has gone from a technological phenomenon to an ideological and political debate.
