This manual provides practitioners in human rights education with tools and insights for a gender-sensitive approach to human rights education involving youth, and is intended for those who address the issue of gender-based violence in their human rights education work with young people. Included in the manual are background legal, political, and social information on gender and gender-based violence as well as exercises and activities that cover different gender issues and aspects of gender-based violence in a human rights framework
