Abstract [en]

A system that uses the Alamouti code on two out of three transmit antennas selected via feedback is studied. It is shown that in addition to optimal antenna selection, optimal power allocation can improve the performance with 1dB in uncorrelated Rayleigh fading. The impact of errors in the feedback link is also studied.
