Stabilizable Regions of Unstable Systems
Linköping University, Department of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control. Linköping University, The Institute of Technology.

Abstract [en]

For unstable linear systems with amplitude and rate constraints on the control variables it is possible to give an explicit characterization of the stabilizable region. In control of aircraft it often happens that a certain control surface is common to several control variables. The characterization of the stabilizable region can then be used to assess the effect of this coupling between control loops.
