Abstract [sv]

Den här rapporten redogör för det arbete som, i samarbete med Sapa Industriservice AB, gjorts för att modernisera belysningsinstallationen i en specifik kontorsbyggnad på Sapas industriområde i Finspång, kallad Byggnad 80. Syftet med arbetet var att minska belysningens energianvändning. Precis som i många andra äldre fastigheter har inte några åtgärder genomförts för att undvika onödig elförbrukning och med dagens stigande energipriser samt skärpta miljökrav ställs det allt större krav på energianvändningen.

Rapporten inleds med en kort teoridel för att klargöra vilka metoder som finns för att styra belysning. Därefter redogörs för hur den befintliga installationen ser ut, hur kravspecifikationen för belysningsstyrningen togs fram och hur en provinstallation genomfördes. Rapporten avslutas med resultatet från provinstallationen samt förslag på hur arbetet kan vidareutvecklas.

Arbetet har dels visat att det finns stora vinster att göra om det redan vid planeringen av en nyinstallation tas hänsyn till hur elförbrukningen kan minimeras, dels att det inte är lika lätt att nå bra resultat om hänsyn ska tas till den befintliga installationen vid en ombyggnation.

Abstract [en]

This report describes the work that's been made, in cooperation with Sapa Industriservice AB, to modernize the lighting installation in a specific office building at Sapa industrial park in Finspång, known as Building 80. The purpose of the work was to reduce the energy consumption of the lighting. As in many other old buildings nothing has been done to avoid unnecessary energy consumption and today's rising energy prices and tougher environmental standards requires an increased awareness of the energy consumption.

The report begins with a brief theory section to clarify the methods available to control the lighting, followed by a description of the existing installation, how the specification for the lighting control was developed and how a test installation was carried out. The report is concluded by the results from the test installation and proposals on how to proceed with the work.

The work has shown that there are big profits to do if the energy consumption is taken into account already in the planning of a new installation, and that it may be hard to achieve good results while trying to use the existing installation to reduce the investment cost during a renovation.
