GrafcetTool: a GRAFCET Implementation in G2

Abstract [en]

GrafcetTool is a GRAFCET based tool for building sequential function charts in the G2 real-time expert system environment. It supports the basic GRAFCET building blocks such as steps, transitions, alternative paths and parallel branches. The toolbox can be used for control, monitoring and diagnosis of sequential processes as well as for modeling of plants with discrete features. In GrafcetTool function charts can be specified either graphically or textually. The latter possibility turns out to be especially useful for realizing graphs during run-time. In this report we describe and give examples of how to use GrafcetTool.
