Abstract [sv]

I detta examensarbete kartläggs reklamationshanteringen inom svensk dagspress, med utgångspunkt från den internationella standarden för dagstidningstryck, ISO 12 647-3. En kvalitativ studie genomförs, framför allt genom en intervjuserie. Denna studie resulterar i en analys av vilka problem branschen lider av när det gäller reklamationer, samt skisser över två åtgärdsförslag. ISO 12 647-3:s oförmåga att fungera som kontrakt mellan tryckeri och kund, samt oklara rutiner för avgöranden och redovisning av reklamationsärenden, konstateras vara de främsta problemen att ta itu med.

Abstract [en]

For this thesis, a survey of claims management within Swedish newspapers is made. The international standard for offset printing on newsprint, ISO 12647-3, is at the centre of the study. A qualitative study, consisting mainly of a series of interviews, is conducted. This leads up to an analysis of what problems the business is facing concerning claims, and sketches of two proposals for action. The inability of ISO 12647-3 to function as a contract between printer and customer, and unclear ways of making decisions and accounting for claims, can be considered the most important issues to deal with.
