Abstract [sv]

Denna tekniska rapport behandlar ett examensarbete utfört på Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery i Finspång. Examensarbetets syfte var att utföra kortslutningsberäkningar samt att ta fram en selektivplan för det avbrottsfria kraftsystemet till en av Siemens gasturbiner. Gasturbinen står ofta långt ifrån kontrollrummet där den styrs ifrån och i rapporten har denna längd antagits till 400 m. Beräkningarna har inte skett på hela kraftsystemet utan en avgränsning till åtta olika delar har gjorts.

Rapporten tar upp teorin för gasturbiner, kortslutningar, skyddsapparater och selektivitet. Även vilka olika typer av kortslutningar som finns och deras effekter behandlas. Senare beskrivs det avbrottsfria kraftsystemet med de avgränsade delarna mer ingående. I själva huvuddelen finns resultat och beräkningar sammanställda med avseende på spänningsfall, utlösningsvillkor, kortslutningsströmmar och kortslutningseffekter. Selektivplaner och enlinjescheman finns presenterade i bilagor. I resultat och diskussionsdelen finns det troliga händelseförloppet vid olika kortslutningar och konsekvenser och åtgärder för spänningsfallen beskrivet.

Abstract [en]

This technical report refers to a thesis work which has been carried out at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery in Finspång. The purpose of the thesis work was to make short circuit calculations and create a selectivity plan for the UPS-system to one of Siemens gas turbines. The gas turbine is often located far away from the control room from which it is controlled and in the report this length is assumed to be 400 m. The calculations haven’t been made on the whole power system, so a delimitation to eight different parts has been made.

The report includes the theory for gas turbines, short circuits, protection devices and selectivity. Different types of short circuits and their effects are also treated. Later on is the UPS-system with the delimitated parts described more detailed. In the main part are the results and the calculations considering voltage drop, releasing conditions, short circuit currents and short circuit effects collected. Selectivity plans and single line diagrams is presented in the appendixes.

In the result- and discussion part is the probably course of events when a short circuit occur and consequences and measures for the voltage drop described.
