Abstract [en]

Summary

In Sweden, medical and dental care is free for children. The paediatric nurse's work concerns not only the child, but also their parents and family, as if they all form an indivisible whole. Thereby, parents are allowed to stay with their child all day, every day. The university training system allows for the significant development of research in paediatric nursing.
