Processing data from modern radar systems is increasingly complex due to larger data volumes and higher performance requirements. This thesis presents a Range-Doppler algorithm for a MIMO radar system, implemented on an FPGA as the digital signal processing unit. It analyses the implementation requirements, identifies bottlenecks at each algorithm stage, and provides insights into practical challenges.

Databehandling av moderna radarsystem blir alltmer komplex på grund av större datamängder och högre prestandakrav. Denna rapport presenterar en Range-Doppler-algoritm för ett MIMO-radarsystem, implementerad på en FPGA som digital signalprocessor. Arbetet analyserar implementations kraven, identifierar flaskhalsar i varje steg av algoritmen och ger förståelse i de praktiska utmaningar som kan uppstå.
