À travers l’étude du roman L’Étranger d’Albert Camus et la nouvelle « Le jeu d’Anne » de Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio, l’objectif du présent article est de montrer comment la personnification de la nature, et avant tout du soleil, permet de tracer des liens intertextuels entre ces textes et la mythologie gréco-romaine tout en dégageant, grâce à une approche éco-critique, une inquiétude sur le rapport entre l’être humain et la nature qui l’entoure.

Through analysis of the novel The Stranger by Albert Camus and the short story « Anne’s Game » by Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio, the aim of the present article is to show how the personification of nature, specifically the sun, helps tracing intertextual links between these texts and Greek and Roman mythology, while at the same time unveiling, thanks to an eco-critical approach, a certain uneasiness about the relationship between man and the nature surrounding him.
