“Indigenous Collections: Belongings, Decolonization, Contextualization” is a focus issue of Collections: A Journal of Museum and Archives Professionals. The Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars who have contributed to the volume offer unique and important perspectives on topics such as The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), decolonizing practices in relation to specific collections and contexts, and archival material and practices. The physical collections they work with range in location from Turtle Island (North America) to France to Zimbabwe.
